Thanks for taking the time to post this video, it’s great and has opened my eyes. I find your site refreshing from the usual crap out there. Like you I recently reached the stage of having enough of IM, having being taken for a ride a couple of times, I’d decided I’d had enough of all the crap and BS.

My success has been spasmodic with a little money here and there but not enough to justify the amount of time I spend online.

I unplugged my computer, read some books, laid on the couch and watched TV with my wife for a month, took my grandchild to the park. I’d had it. my brain was exploding with all the contradictory information.

I unsubscribed from every list. Then I came back and found your site by accident. I really like your style. You come across as honest.

I enjoy reading your site. so I’m slowly coming back having regrouped. All I need to do is find that elusive system but I’m staying away from the gurus and ebooks. Thanks a lot, I really enjoyed the video.

    Cheers

    Paul

Thanks Paul, I really appreciate that. I believe I have mentioned it before on here, but I took off probably 4-6 months after a year or two of trying so many things. I too was tired of all the crap online and everything from the guru’s.

After I came back to it (there is just something that draws me to it like an addiction!) I took a different approach. It seems to all make much more sense now – so much so that I see almost too many opportunities in niches.

I know firsthand how frustrating it can be so hopefully this blog will clear it up for some people.

I am also thinking about putting together a series of videos, or even webinars, that walk people through step by step from start to finish on what exactly to do, all in order, to get them making some sales. I have paid hundreds of dollars to learn this from others, but I would want to do it free or maybe a “donation” basis if anyone wanted to donate. I just think it’s that important and I hate to see people struggle.

I would do it this summer most likely, I’ll keep you posted.

    Take care.

Great Mat, I’ll watch out for that, i’d be more than happy to pay a reasonable price for solid and genuine tuition.

    Cheers

Thanks for the vid Matt. You always have great stuff. I want to try and start experimenting with affiliate and CPA products soon. Have you worked with any CPA?

    Thanks
    -Eric

P.S. you should really setup a custom name URL structure for your posts.

Hey, thanks for the kind words Eric. I have not done CPA. I have thought about it many times but try to master one or two things at a time. I will do it eventually, just don’t want to get spread too thin if you know what I mean.

I know I should set up the custom name URL’s! It goes against everything I do with SEO having it the way I have it! I know it sounds odd, but I didn’t do it on the front end because I was not trying to necessarily rank for anything, I just wanted to get some good stuff out there to help people. “Another” thing I’ll get around to! Take care.

OK, ok, I broke down and changed it just now! Thanks for busting my chops (in a good way of course)!

Hey Matt, I am the same way. I get bogged down trying to master everything. Usually the internet marketing fields get divided into the driving traffic side(CPA, Affiliate) or the product creation side(those typically pay for traffic). Focusing on both of these at the same time, in my opinion drives me nuts.

Haha, I wish someone would bust my chops. I have so much I want to get done and experiment with. I keep saying I’ll get it down the next day and then a month rolls on without it down. bummer

Well, thanks for all your awesome effort with this blog.

One more thing, when you sent out the recommendation for Ryan Diess’ product, how did you become a affiliate for him. I think his products are amazing and would maybe like to promote it someday.

    Thanks
    -Eric

Hey Eric, I try not to get too overwhelmed these days, although it doesn’t take much! When I started I became a generalist in everything and a master of nothing. Always jumping from one thing to the next. I basically fell flat on my face, so now I just try to stay focused. It’s hard, cause I think I am ADD also! But its working so far.

For Ryan I just submitted an application to become an affiliate. He reviews them each, its not an automatic approval. I think it took like 72 hours for him to get back to me. I’m not sure where exactly I got his link to get the application to become an affiliate – I think it might have been below the Facebook video?

    Take care.
