I just wanted to say, Matt is right about finding the right niche. Some are garbage and others are gold. The first niche that I chose, turned out to be garbage. I achieved the number one spot on Google after a year from my SEO and it still doesn’t generate much money, but I keep going with it anyway because it turned out to be fun blogging and interacting with people.
It gets about 180 unique visits per day and only makes about 100 dollars profit per week so its kind of a garbage niche to me. So take Matt’s suggestions and look for a gold niche. Its even funner if your making a lot of money in the process too.

Right on Eric. I unfortunately have more than a few of those! But you live and learn.
Yeah, I figured that I’d learn from it. I also keep at it just becuase it would be learning experience. I am cranking away at trying new things- seeing what works and what doesn’t.
Then I can take the lessons learned and work on a gold site. I have been doing some very cool strategies with Facebook right now and I seeing some amazing possibilities that are working.
Thanks for sharing this. Your process of research is so close to my process and I m glad to see other people doing it. You have a lot of patience to show us all that stuff.
Keep going because is ”a must” for find a golden niche and testing if the CTR is worst this amount of work.
